A bit about me

Growing up in the small village of Denton in Northamptonshire, I was surrounded by countryside. The fields and woods were my childhood playground and it is where my love for wildlife and the outdoors stems from. 

The days of wandering off down the fields with my friends and our homemade bow and arrows are now distant memories so I decided to try my hand at photography as a way of keeping connected to nature.

Not long after buying my first camera in 2008, a Sony A350 digital camera, I completed a diploma in photography. I bought lots of photography books and magazines and spent most of my free time outdoors practising and working on my craft. With a lot of trial, error and patience, my hobby turned into a real passion which has only continued to grow. That passion has given birth to a commitment in me to get out there and capture the beauty of the English countryside and its inhabitants great and small.

I have knowledge, experience and, more importantly, an eye for a great picture. Some of my photographic achievements to date include pictures featuring in local newspapers, on the BBC website and TV weather forecast, and the Environment Agency's national coastal flooding campaign.

I have an extensive portfolio of images, many of which can be found on this site. Most are available to purchase from my online shop as either canvas, framed or unframed prints however, if you find an image you like that isn't featured in the store, please get in touch to discuss possible options.
