I really enjoyed our short break to Devon. We had a lovely couple of days out and spent the evenings relaxing with a glass or two of red wine.
We went to the stunningly beautiful Blackpool Sands on the first day and although the weather wasn't great when we first got there, it eventually cleared up and the beach looked amazing in the afternoon sun. We had planned to visit Elender Cove that day too but we enjoyed Blackpool Sands so much we decided to stay there for a bit longer instead.
On the morning of the second day we headed down to the small seaside village of Hope Cove before spending the afternoon in Salcombe, enjoying a pub lunch and a walk around the shops. It is a really nice town and the winding streets reminded me a little of Whitby.
It would have been nice to spend a few more days down there as It really is a beautiful part of the world and the opportunity to take a nice photo is never far away. We really liked where we stayed so I'm sure we will head back there in the future :)
